How to Buy $TENDOG on Solana, Step by Step

A plain-language guide to getting a wallet, adding SOL and swapping for $TENDOG on Jupiter, with the safety checks that matter most.

Buying a Solana token for the first time looks harder than it is. You need three things: a wallet, some SOL, and a place to swap. This guide walks through each one, and the checks that keep you safe.

1. Get a wallet

A wallet is the app that holds your tokens and signs your transactions. The two we support on this site are Phantom and Solflare. Install one from its official website or your browser's official extension store.

When you create the wallet it shows a seed phrase (12 or 24 words). Write it on paper and keep it offline. Anyone with that phrase controls your funds, so never type it into a website, never send it in a chat, and remember that nobody from TenderDog will ever ask for it.

2. Add SOL

SOL is the main coin of the Solana network. You need a little of it for two reasons: to swap into other tokens and to pay the tiny network fee on every transaction.

Buy SOL on any exchange you already trust, then withdraw it to your wallet address. Do a small test transfer first if it is your first time.

3. Swap SOL for $TENDOG

Swaps on Solana happen on decentralized exchanges. The easiest way to reach them is an aggregator such as Jupiter, which looks for the best route.

  1. Open the swap from the Buy $TENDOG button in the site header, or go to Jupiter directly.
  2. Connect your wallet.
  3. Choose SOL as the token you pay with.
  4. For the token you receive, paste the contract address and confirm it matches:

  1. Enter the amount, review the quote and confirm in your wallet.

Checks before you confirm

  • Contract address. Copycat tokens reuse the same name and logo. Only the contract address is unique, so compare every character. You can also verify it on Solscan from the About page.
  • Slippage. TenderDog is a small market. Large orders move the price, so start small and read our guide on liquidity and slippage.
  • Links. Only trust links from this site and our official accounts on X and Discord.

After you buy

Your $TENDOG shows up in Phantom or Solflare automatically. Connect that same wallet in the Arcade and the games will read your balance to unlock holder perks.
